Trams offer a comfortable and reliable surface transportation in Prague. Walking through the centre of Prague, you will often hear the signature jingling sound of streetcars. Trams are an inherent part of the Czech Republic’s capital, where Public Transit Co. Inc operates the largest tram-line system in the country, with almost 1,000 trams. This converted Tatra T3 tram (what I call a shin-breaker because of the steep steps on the regular tram) started out life in 1965.
